Victoria was chosen to be the "Rider of the Week" for her kinder class.
This was the first ceremony they have had this year so, it felt kind of cool that she was chosen for this special honor!
She was super excited even though she didn't really know anything about it. Neither did mom or dad!!
One child from each class is chosen and they all go to the library where they are filmed for the morning announcements. They say their name, grade and teacher. Well, they are suppose to- Victoria got a little shy and didn't really say anything!! Then they all group together and sing the school song and take pictures!
After pictures we walked Victoria to her class where all her friends said, "hey we saw you on TV"!! She was pretty excited about that!
I think it's a really neat thing that her school does.
I'm sure it makes all the children feel really good about themselves which i think is awesome!!
Every child gets to be a Rider of the Week, at least that's what one of the other kids told me!!!
